This is where you can display non-special armors and weapons that you come across in your travels or craft yourself. The main room holds displays for common armor and weapon pieces, and displays for items from Immersive Weapons, Immersive Armors, Heavy Armory, Dawnguard Arsenal and Thane Weapons Reborn. The armor can be displayed by clicking on the display plaque or by placing it in the 'Armory Storage' cabinet next to the entrance. Weapons can only be displayed by placing them in the cabinet.
There are also weapon and armor displays for each of the nine holds. Above each hold mannequin is a plaque representing the hold. There are 16 weapon racks arranged around the hold mannequins, and banners for each hold that become visible when you have earned the title as Thane in the hold. You are free to put any armor and weapons on the displays that you wish, but the intent is to clothe them in the relevant hold armor. These items do not count into the total display count.
In the main room of the armory there are three doors leading to Display Rooms that hold undedicated mannequins and weapon racks you can fill any way you want. There is also a stairway in the middle of the room leading to the Lower Gallery of the armory where you will find even more undedicated mannequins and weapon racks. Any items displayed here do not count towards the museum's total display count.
You can also find a trapdoor leading to the Museum Storeroom where you can activate and deactivate storyline and achievement displays.
