He is the main antagonist in the quest Shadows of One's Past and is also Avram Shazir's older brother. He is the leader of a band of thieves that steal the Dragonborn Gallery's displays at the start of Shadows of One's Past. He is encountered at the end of Engelmann's Sanctuary, Avram will ask to speak with him first at the start of the dungeon, which the player can agree to.
